Pay more for your meals on trains; cost of evening tea on sleeper class of Duronto to go up from Rs 20 to Rs 50

​According to the new rates for Rajdhani, Duronto and Shatabdi, a cup of tea which used to cost Rs 10 will now cost Rs 20 in second AC and Rs 15 in sleeper class. A lunch or dinner in sleeper class of Duronto, which earlier was priced at Rs 80 will now cost Rs 120. The price of an evening tea has shot up from Rs 20 to Rs 50.
