Instead of taxable EPF, why not invest in equity MF? IRR would be 7.48%, higher than 5.6% from EPF

Taxation of the EPF amount means that the true post-tax internal rate of return will be just 5.62%. So, it’s a deposit with a long lock-in period and a return of 5.62%. Does this seem like a good deal to you? No, not to me either.
