Non-Covid hospital bills add to health claim surge

According to Star Health and Allied Insurance MD S Prakash, average claim size of (non-Covid) hospitalisation is now Rs 51,000 from Rs 41,000 because of mandatory Covid-19 tests, personal protective equipment costs and staff-handling charges.
