ICICI Bank slashes interest rate on savings account by 25 bps

Savings bank accounts with deposits up to Rs 50 lakh will earn 3.25 per cent interest as against existing 3.5 per cent, ICICI said. At the same time, it said, savings bank account with deposit over Rs 50 lakh but less than Rs 2 crore will fetch 3.75 per cent, from the current rate of 4 per cent.

LPG cylinders cheaper by up to Rs 65, second price cut in two months

As per IOC's revised rate list that was made public today, the 14.2 cylinder will cost Rs 744 in Delhi from today (April 1, 2020), down Rs 61.5 from the last list (Rs 805.5 per cylinder). For Kolkata the new rate is Rs 774.5 (earlier price 839.5), for Mumbai Rs 714.5 (earlier price Rs 776.5), and for Chennai 761.5 (earlier price Rs 826).
